So original

Yo man, this shit is honestly one of the most original songs I've ever heard on NG. I'm not even a big fan of this type of music but I mean, you really made it a fucking SONG, not just a bunch of repetitive bullshit like the rest of us do. I envy that skill (which I'm working on to improve). The transition from 1:08-1:13 was fucking nuts and your use of dynamics was on point as usual. I know you've said that you're not looking into going commercial with your music, and I respect that, but at the same time the world needs creative geniuses like you. Keep it up bruh, I'm looking forward to more of your shit!

Hey man, thanks a lot for the review. I really appreciate all the reviews you've been doing on my songs!

Wow, what can I say? Thanks a lot! Although a friend of mine tells me this is repetitive so I wouldn't call its variety that perfect :P.

Glad you like them! I owe it to SBB for the 1:08 transition, since if it wasn't for his suggestions then it wouldn't have that string buildup and the descending guitar glissando... thing.

Aw thank you :3.

Thanks again for the incredibly supportive review, I really owe you one. Reviews like these are one of the reasons why I still get inspiration to make new songs, so thanks a lot!

I'm so proud of you!

Whattt??? Dude, this is so awesome, like, for real! By far the best shit you've ever made! I'm fucking speechless so I can't leave a lengthy review. But all I can say is that I love every part of it! It's so amazing to see how far you've come. I remember when you didn't even make music and you were asking me how to get started. Now look at this? Just shows that consistent effort and a good mindset is all you need to get good at anything. Honestly man, I don't know what else to say. This shit is awesome and it made my day.

montehawks responds:

It's all thanks to you, you're the only reason I started making music! :D I feel it's by far the best I've ever done, with more to come as soon as the inspiration hits me!

Even though I can't say this song is 100% my own, since I used lyrics and samples that weren't orignially mine, I feel that this will open up a lot more doors. Perhaps I'm better at remixing :D

Mackenzie

This is a really powerful tune. I can tell your women problems really paid off because this song is pure emotion. You couldn't pull this shit off before your problems. It just shows that once someone is in the right mindset, he or she is able to produce powerful music. Is this "she" Mackenzie? Or that other girl you've started to see?

montehawks responds:

Yea, it's about Mackenzie. Thanks for the review.

Have you considered a career? And happy bday!

Man, all your music is just top quality. You really have a gift in this stuff. You should honestly consider a career (or side career) in music production for games, commercials, television, etc. It seems as if you have the mind and expertise for a wide range of genres. I really loved you implementation of different effects and sounds, and your structural approach to the song is on point. I don't really have much else to say, for this song speaks for itself. Just keep it up, your Newgrounds page is like your portfolio, and so far your portfolio is at an A+. The best news is that it will only get better. Once again, happy birthday man!

I just uploaded a new song as well, feel free to check it out once you get the time.

Hey, long time no see! Thanks for reviewing :3.

"Man, all your music is just top quality. You really have a gift in this stuff."

I'm flattered, thanks! Most of it comes from long hours producing music and scrapping bad ideas though...

"You should honestly consider a career (or side career) in music production for games, commercials, television, etc."

I've thought about it, but then thought against it. Music'll probably just be there as a hobby all my life, because I'm deaf from one ear so I'm clearly not the ideal music producer. That and I plan on taking up programming/writing :D.

"It seems as if you have the mind and expertise for a wide range of genres."

Yeah that's something I always try to do. It really makes producing music more fun in my opinion.

"I really loved you implementation of different effects and sounds, and your structural approach to the song is on point."

Thank you! The project file of this song is probably the most organised one I ever did because it's the first time I actually made good use of FL's naming tracks and colouring patterns xP.

Thanks for the compliments! I'm glad you like my songs.

"I just uploaded a new song as well, feel free to check it out once you get the time."

Will do! I'll try and find the time to return the favour and review it too.

Thanks again!

So catchy!

Wow, this song is amazing. I love the vocal samples used, and their implementations. So ambient...so reverberant...This song got an immediate download from me, a fav, a 5/5 and a 10/10. I got a couple friends who rap, and I'm going to see if they'll spit to this. If they do I'll make sure they give you credit (it'll say prod. by Pandor5) and I'll hit you up with the finished product.

And to think I accidentally clicked on this song too...I guess God works wonders lol

Pandorian91 responds:

Hey dude thank you so much!! I'm very glad you enjoyed it, and I'll gladly let anyone rap to any of my things! Can't wait to hear what you guys can do! Thanks again!

-Pandor5

Nicely done and congrats!

This is a very clean sounding song. Out of everything in the song, I really enjoy the quality of your mix (as weird as that sounds =P). I really love your instrument choice as well, plus the melodies involved. I'm sorry I got to your message late, I've been super busy with school lol=P

Great job on the top 5 btw!

Step responds:

Hey man, long time no see! I can understand if you're busy with school, so am I >.>.

Glad you liked the instrumentation, despite how hard it was for me to do it. I'm surprised you like the mix, though. I can't mix if my life depended on it.

Thanks a lot for the review, really appreciate it!

Epic^_^

Yo, first off, I'm sorry about the month delay =/. But now I could finally get to this song. I must say, its pretty impressive. Really epic sounding. I know it sounds like requiem for a dream, but why would I bitch? Many songs these days sound like other songs. Its called inspiration. You hear a song, really like it, then take your own spin---creating something really original. My last two independent trance songs are based off Jpop songs I heard. But they still turned out really original. So for everyone saying that "this song is not good because it sounds like Requiem for a Dream," they're really ignorant.

Okay, so to sum it up, I really love the whole orchestral feel and the drums, but what got me the most was the dynamics. Beautifully done. And the songs structure is so well varied. This song never gets boring. Well done and keep it up! You already know that I know that you're swimming in talent, but tell your friend that he's swimming in talent too!
Well done!

No need to be sorry. It's not like you're forced to review me and you've been late or something :P. Review me if and when you want to :).

Thanks a bunch for the support! That's exactly what Darklight and I have been telling everyone...

Yeah I definitely think they make the song sound more epic and powerful.

Good to hear, variety is usually our first goal.

Thanks for so much support, this is surely one of the most supportive reviews I've ever received :).

Best Beat

This is probably one of the best beats I've ever heard on this site...heck, in my life for that matter. I love the choice of instruments, the beating, the vocals....fuck...everything was so damn nice. I could listen to this all day. You inspired me. Can you please tell me or PM me all the different VSTi (preset names as well) and instruments you used. Because I like beats with that "background color" that you can't really put your finger on. This song has it well done. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to use some a'capellas and play around with this beat.

Better than BOUNC3

Personally, I think this is better than BOUNC3's mix, even though both were really nice. Just to correct everyone, the original song is NOT by BOUNC3. It's by DJ Splash. I'm actually surprised that there are several remixes of this song up here on NG. DJ Splash seems more popular than I thought=P
But this was a really nice song man, keep it up! I noticed you took a great liking to my music as well. Thanks a lot! It's people like you that help spread the name of artists with potential. I would really love to do a collab with you someday.
10/10 5/5 fav DL...and I fav'd you as an artist too;)

Chimy727 responds:

Wow thanks! that means a lot!
But im afraid to say that the original IS By B0UNC3 actually... splash remixed it.
the whole story was on B0UNC3s page.
raaban was actually the one who stole credit for it, and let splash remix it.
they are all VERY great artists, but B0UNC3 really did make the original melody and song.
and yeah, splash is actually very popular.
thanks a ton anyway lol
:D

haha nice

Haha, I was just playing this game, and I come on to NG, and hear this lol. Really nice use of instruments. I love the melody you made with the sentry ^_^
